Associate professor in Civil and family law - Comparative Civil and
trade law (1990), associate professor in International private law
(2002 - NBU), Professor in Intellectual property Law (2003 VFU). Since
1972 - lecturer at UNWE - department for Legal studies, at present
Faculty of law. Rich practical experience as economist, legal adviser,
consultant in the field of trade relations and international business,
privatisation, partnership between public and private organisations,
intellectual property law and management. Pre-qualifications and
specialisation in Czechoslovakia in the field of Law, Economics and
methods for technical creative activities, in France (The Sorbonne) in
Comparative trade law, Intellectual property law, European law, also in
Japan and Russia. Industrial property representative at the Patent
Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Patent Agency.
General Director of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at UNWE,
Deputy chairperson of the Bulgarian Association for development of
management and entrepreneurship, Chairperson of the Control committee
of the National Association for intellectual property. Participation in
international projects, including such for managerial training,
professional qualification of entrepreneurs, projects for harmonisation
of Bulgarian law with the EU legal system, projects for certification
of municipal clerks from Central and Eastern Europe. Manager of
Japanese-Bulgarian project for the establishment of the Managerial
Skills Development Center at IPS.
Winner of international awards, including Asia-Pacific University
Ritsumeikan Certificate (Beppu, Japan), Honorary Certificate of the
International Institute for municipal clerks with headquarters in USA.
Message
Continuous learning, patience, dignity and confidence in the abilities
of Bulgarians to be creative, to act as modern leaders, as managers on
an international level are necessary conditions for the development and
recognition of professionalism. |
